Our Fostering team will be attending the following events over the coming months, providing information on fostering opportunities with Dorset Council. Please come and chat with us and we'd be delighted to answer any questions you have

May

Weymouth Library, Great George Street, DT4 8NN

5 May 2022, from 10am
Weymouth Library and Learning Centre can be found in the town centre. The fostering team will be on hand to answer any questions and talk through the steps of the fostering approval process.

Blandford Library, Blandford Forum, DT11 7DW

19 May 2022, from 10am
Blandford library offers access to a wide range of services including books for adults and young people, feature films and music to hire. The fostering team will be on hand to answer any questions and talk through the steps of the fostering approval process.

Swanage Library, High St, Swanage BH19 2NU

23 May 2022, from 10am
Swanage library is situated on the high street and offers a range of services including books for adults and young people, feature films and music to hire, drama sets and vocal scores and computer and internet access. The fostering team will be at the library from 10am to answer any questions you might have

Kingston Lacy House 

31 May 2022, from 10am
Kingston Lacy is a country house and estate near Wimborne Minster. Look out for the Dorset Council fostering information stand. The team will be happy to answer any questions you might have and can talk you through the fostering approval process.

June

Ferndown Jubilee Event, King George V Fields

3 June from 1pm
The grounds at King George V Playing Fields will host a community picnic on Friday 3rd June between 1pm-4pm with lots of entertainment for the kids, bouncy castles and stalls. 
Look out for the Dorset Council fostering stand. The team will be on-hand to answer any questions you might have

Adventure Wonderland, Hurn, Christchurch BH23 6BA

16 June 2022, from 11am
Adventure Wonderland is a family theme park situated in the village of Hurn, near Bournemouth.
Look out for the Dorset Council fostering stand. The team will be on-hand to answer any questions you might have.

Moors Valley is a country park with a woodland play trail, mini steam railway, Go Ape tree top adventure trail, country shop and much more.
The Fostering team will be in attendance from 10am and will be happy to answer any questions you might have. Keep an eye out for the Dorset Council fostering stand and swing by and say “hi”.

Halloween Family Fun at Nothe Fort

Nothe Fort is becoming the spookiest place in Weymouth! With monstrous magic shows and an evening scare attraction, there is something for all the family in this Halloween extravaganza.

Dorchester Christmas Cracker
