Free Swish clothes swap returns to Beaminster on 25 April

Back by popular demand, Dorset Council’s next free SWISH clothes swap is coming to Beaminster Town Hall on Saturday 25 April 2026.

If your wardrobe could do with a spring refresh, SWISH is a simple way to pick up something “new to you” without spending a penny. Bring along items you love but don’t wear anymore, swap them, and head home with a few fresh finds.

How it works

Bring up to 10 clean, good-quality items in good, wearable (or repairable) condition. We welcome men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, plus shoes and accessories such as scarves and hats. In return, you can take home items that are new to you, completely free.

Event times

The event runs from 11am to 1pm. To help us get everything set up, please drop off your items from 10am onwards. Please note we will not accept clothing after 12pm (noon), although you are still welcome to arrive after that time and have a browse. Also, the time is different from previous SWISH events, so please double-check before you travel. No traders, please.

Where

Beaminster Town Hall, 8 Fleet Street, Beaminster, DT8 3EF.
